about

Lonely Woman were a short lived Manchester Quartet, featuring primarily Martyn from Spy Versus Spy/Future Adventures on guitar, Liam (drums) and Dan (keyboards and violin) from Nasdaq/The FTSE 100 and Charlotte, who played bass and sax.

In their brief existence between 2009 and 2010, they played just a couple of gigs, often with different members. Luckily for us all, during that short time they managed to squeeze out a recording with Karl Sveinsson at Queens Ark, which is what we're able to bring you right here.

Five tracks of incredibly beautiful jazz infused, tropical guitar, post-rock melancholia. A rare wealth of talent that is elating to experience, yet simultaneously devastating that you will never hear or see more from them ever again.

Enjoy for free or pay what you like.
